The client reported that their water heater was not working. Upon inspection, our technician tested the power coming from the breaker and found it was not producing 240V. The breaker was replaced, and voltage was checked at the breaker, disconnect, and water heater, confirming proper power delivery. The water heater was drawing 20/18 AMPS on each leg, which is within the normal range.
During the inspection, we also noticed oversized breakers in the panel and recommended replacing them with properly rated breakers to prevent circuit overload and potential safety hazards.
