The client reported issues with their water heater’s “rapid heat” feature and was informed by the city that water was running continuously. Upon arrival, our technician confirmed the client’s concerns and identified a bad o-ring on the flow meter of the tankless water heater as the source of the issue.
The o-ring was replaced, and the two-way valve was adjusted back to the external setting for the recirculating pump. After repairs, the water meter was checked to ensure no additional leaks were present.
