The client requested a sewer lateral replacement due to a collapsed PVC line and additional water service improvements.
Our technician excavated and replaced the damaged sewer lateral from the driveway area to just before the road, installing a cleanout for easy access. During the excavation, it was discovered that a power line tension rod had penetrated the sewer lateral, causing breakage and root intrusion. Additionally, the water service line was replaced from the meter to inside the crawl space, with sleeving through the foundation and sealing around both ends with hydraulic cement. The water pressure was set to 60-65 psi, ensuring reliable service.
